Vol Army Cadets participated in the First Annual Tyndall Family Foundation “Run for Vets” held on 27 September 2014. The event raised money for two Knoxville Veterans Organization, The East Tennessee Veterans Memorial and the HonorAir program. The fun run was a 6 KM run that began at the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial in World’s Fair Park and end on the floor in Thompson-Boling Arena. Vol Army Cadets were responsible for setting up the route, registering participants, manning water and safety points, and recovering the equipment after the race. Vol Army Cadet Kaitlyn Rayfield was the first female finisher and the third overall finisher.
