MS 1/2 Fall FTX

MS 1 and MS 2 Cadets conducted their Fall FTX from 24 OCT-27 OCT 2013 in and around campus. Day one of the FTX was rappelling at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Training facility. Cadets were taught the basics of rappelling and the took turns descending the 40 foot wall. Knox County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team member provided all the equipment and training.

Day two of the FTX consisted of a 3.5 mile ruck march with a 35 lb ruck sack to the 278th ACR Headquarters where the Cadets conducts Basic Rifle Marksmanship and trained on the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST). Cadets also conducted equipment familiarization with members of the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment.

On the third day of the FTX Cadets conducted Urban Operations, entry and clear operations and STX in around the Panhellenic Building on Campus.
