SFC Brock Everett is a native of Bridge City, Texas. In 2006, he graduated from Lamar University Beaumont, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and enlisted as an Infantryman in 2007.
Upon completion of One Station Unit Training, SFC Everett was assigned to Charger Company, 2-3 IN, JBLM, Washington where he served as an Automatic Rifleman, Stryker Driver, Vehicle Commander, Team Leader, and Squad Leader. There, he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 2009-2010 and Operation Enduring Freedom 2011-2012.
Next, SFC Everett performed duties as a Drill Sergeant for Delta Company, 2-19 IN, Fort Benning, GA.
Then, he was assigned to 3-41 IN, Fort Bliss, Texas and served as a Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant. While there, SFC Everett was privileged to participate in the reflagging of 1-1 AD into 1st Armored Brigade, subsequently retiring The Rifles Battalion and activating 4-70 AR.
Now, SFC Everett is honored to serve as the Senior Military Science Instructor for the University of Tennessee Knoxville where he is the Primary Instructor for Military Science and Leadership 201 & 202.
SFC Everett’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (4th Award), Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, and the Combat Infantry Badge. He is a graduate of the Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, and the United States Army Drill Sergeant School.
He is married to Ms. Jeanette Fadness of Seattle, WA with whom he has 3 children.
