MAJ Trey Bradshaw

Major Herbert “Trey” L. Bradshaw III assumed his most recent position as Executive Officer and Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in July 2025. He attended the United States Military Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Commissioned in May 2011 into the Air Defense Artillery. He holds a Master of Arts in Operational Studies from the Command and General Staff College.

MAJ Trey Bradshaw’s first duty assignment was 3rd Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, as a Platoon Leader. He conducted expeditionary deployment in support of Operation Active Fence in 2013 to Gaziantep, Turkey. He continued service with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment and became the Fire Direction Center Officer-in-Charge prior to deploying in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in 2015 to the United Arab Emirates. His follow-on assignment was Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky, as the Air Defense Airspace Manager Officer-in-Charge in June 2017. He deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operations Freedom’s Sentinel and Resolute Support as the Air Defense Airspace Manager Officer-in-Charge, Chief of Plans, and Battle Captain. From 2019 to 2021, MAJ Bradshaw commanded Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Upon redeployment, he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) G3 Air and Missile Defense as the deputy chief.

 

In 2022, MAJ Bradshaw was assigned to the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command G35 Future Operations, Sembach, Germany. He served as the Battalion Operations Officer for 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 52d Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Baumholder, Germany. He deployed to Poland in support of Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce in 2023 and 2024. Upon redeployment, he was assigned as the Brigade Operations Officer for 52d Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Sembach, Germany.

MAJ Bradshaw is a graduate of the Air Defense Artillery Basic Officer Leader’s Course, the Captain’s Career Course, and the Command and General Staff College

MAJ Bradshaw is a native of Athens, Tennessee. He is married to the former Hollie Siekierka of Detroit, Michigan, and they have a seven-year old daughter, Evelyn, and a four-year old son, Jackson.

MAJ Bradshaw’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (1OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (5OLC), the Army Achievement Medal, the Senior Space Badge, and the Air Assault Badge.
